When you create an account on Claude Code University, we collect your name, email address, and payment information (processed securely by Stripe). We also collect usage data such as lesson progress and interactions with our AI tutor to improve your learning experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain your account and course access
  • Process one-time payments
  • Track your learning progress across modules
  • Power the built-in AI tutor with lesson context
  • Send you important updates about your account or the course
  • Improve our curriculum and platform

3. AI Tutor & Data

Our built-in AI tutor is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you chat with the tutor, your messages and the current lesson context are sent to Anthropic for processing. We do not store your chat history beyond your active session. Anthropic's data practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase -- Authentication and database
  • Stripe -- Payment processing
  • Anthropic -- AI tutor functionality
  • Vercel -- Hosting and deployment
  • Google -- OAuth sign-in (optional)

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers. Authentication is managed by Supabase with encrypted sessions.

6. Your Rights

You can request to access, update, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at alex@claudecodeuniversity.com. You can also delete your account from the account settings page, which will remove all your data from our systems.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or through a notice on our website.
